LECS UK’s Lee Dean took part in the Lift Industry Cycle Challenge 2021.

On July 10, joined by dozens of other keen cyclists, Lee embarked on the first leg, some 160km, of the challenge to help raise money for The Lift Industry Charity.

Lee said: “The Lift Industry Charity provides essential financial support to individuals and their families that have been injured or killed while working in our industry. This is only possible with the help of donations, sponsorships and events like this, so I was delighted to take part in the challenge.

“Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me. Your donations are key to the ongoing success of the charity.”

Lee set a target to raise £1,000 for the charity and has already topped that by raising in excess of £1,500. There is still time to contribute to Lee’s justgiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fun…

The UK Lift Industry Charity started out as an informal group of people that wanted to provide assistance to lift industry colleagues in times of trouble.

The UK Lift Industry Charity was officially registered as a charity in 2007. Since that time the charity has made donations in excess of £55,000.
