On Friday 10, September 2021 Team Bentley (John and his brother Gary) will set out to complete the Classic C2C cycle ride from the harbour at Whitehaven to the beach at Whitley Bay. The brothers will be travelling across Cumbria and Northumberland and aim to complete the ride in under 20 hours ride time.

My immediate reaction was “no,” as I remember a discussion a few years ago when, after much debate, I became aware there was a requirement for buttons to be bistable, but there was no mention of a common button in EN 81-1.
