UK MAY 2021: LECS UK has partnered with the Engineer Surveyor Inspection Network (ESiNet) to deliver one of the most efficient and cost effective statutory inspection services to the lift sector.
The new partnership provides lift owners and operators with an immediate nationwide service, ensuring LOLER compliance for any applicable lifts.
The expanded network will provide clients with speedy turnaround times, delivered nationally by an expert surveyor local to them and supported by the independent lift-engineering consultants at LECS UK. As part of the collaboration Dave Cooper, CEO of LECS UK, will also join the board of EsiNet and take the role of EsiNet’s principal engineer (vertical transportation).
Dave Cooper said: “While some lift maintenance companies offer these inspections and reports, best practice and HSE guidance recommends that maintenance providers don’t ‘mark their own homework’.

“LECS UK and ESiNet have unblemished track records in providing statutory lift inspections. Combining our resources makes perfect sense and will ultimately benefit clients.”
The LECS UK-ESiNet service is uniquely supported by real-time online reports that include photographic evidence of faults, asset status, inspection due dates and associated technical documentation – all available within a client’s personal portal. It also offers out-of-hours inspections to help avoid disruption to a building’s normal operations.
Matthew Godfrey, director at ESiNet, said: “This partnership brings a dedicated national LOLER inspection and report service to the market. By combining our expansive network of member companies with LECS UK’s award-winning independent consultancy, clients benefit from our collective expertise, efficiency and experience.
